Lafayette Oatmeal 5K Run/Walk
Saturday, January 14, 2023 Lafayette will host its 26th Annual Oatmeal Festival. This community celebration is sponsored by the Quaker Oats Company and organized by the Lafayette Chamber of Commerce.
The Lafayette Oatmeal Festival is centered around Oatmeal, as January is National Oatmeal Month. We are the only Oatmeal Festival this large in the country. Our event focuses on a healthy lifestyle, including exercise and diet. It’s a well-known fact that eating oatmeal is good for your heart. The Oatmeal Festival consist of two areas; The Oatmeal Breakfast and the 5K Walk/Run.
Oatmeal Breakfast-7:30am-11:30 - Spectacular toppings bar
Pioneer Elementary - 101 East Baseline Road
More than 200 gallons of Oatmeal will be prepared for the breakfast, over 100 toppings plus egg/hashbrown cups and oatmeal muffins. The cost for the breakfast is $9 for adults, and $7 for seniors and youth (3-12), tots 2 years and under are free.
Lafayette Oatmeal 5K Walk/Run-9:30am 5K Start
Colorado Music Fest/Center for Musical Arts (CMF/CMA- 200 East Baseline Road. Participants may register online, in person, or mail. The day of the event, registration will take place at the Colorado Music Festival/Center for Musical Arts (200 East Baseline Road). **** Pick up Bib and Timing Chip is on Friday, January 13, 9:00am-6:00pm at the Lafayette Chamber, 304 W. Baseline Rd. or on race day at CMF/CMA 7:30am-9:10am, 200 East Baseline Rd.
A Free shuttle will run continuously from Flatirons Community Church @ 355 W. South Boulder Rd.
