Event: 2021 Friends of the Poor Virtual 5K Walk/Run
With the continued concerns relating to the COVID-19 pandemic and to ensure the safety of our participants, we will be holding this year's event VIRTUALLY! All participants can walk or run in any location whether it be in the safety of your neighborhood, a local park or even on a treadmill during that week. It is a great way to help us fill our pantry with food to feed the poor in our community during a time and day that is convenience for YOU!

For those who would like the challenge, start a team by asking your friends, family and co-workers to join your efforts. As each participant receives donations and enters the times online, the site will display where you and your team ranks against other participants in raising funds and the best finishing times in various categories. It is a truly unique experience!
So let's get started! Register for the race and get your team of friends and family together, spread the word through social media and your network and help us feed the poor. For those interested, sponsorships are still available and will be proudly recognized through social media and other mediums.
