ABOUT THE FOUNDER
My name is Bailie Foster and I am the founder of the Endometriosis Resource Center, one of the newest non-profit organizations to impact the Wichita Community. I began my journey with Endometriosis in 2010, I felt isolated and defeated. I didn’t think there was a cure or a community. Through trial and error, leaving my comfort zone and reaching out to other brave women, I have learned that 1 in 10 women have Endometriosis. You can imagine my relief to also discover – through trial and error – that there is a better quality of life through management options. My Endo journey is far from over, but it has lit a fire in me to connect with other women, who found themselves in the same situation as me.. 10 years ago.
According to the Endometriosis Foundation of America, Endometriosis is responsible for $78 BILLION in health care costs and lost work productivity each year; as a result, this disease either directly or indirectly impacts all of us. By participating in this event, you are helping the Wichita Endo Community get “One Step Closer” to the achievement of a better life.
