The Kathy O'Sullivan One Miler (YOUTH 14 & UNDER)
This new event is for youth 14 and younger. This race is presented in honor and memory of Martha's Vineyard running enthusiast, Kathy O'Sullivan. She was dedicated to encouraging folks of all ages to experience the love of running, especially young people. Her excitement and genuine love of the sport has inspired so many. She was one of the founding members of the Martha's Athletic Club (MAC), the original running club on the island, which no longer exists. Many of those original members are now happily part of The Amity Island Running Club.
