PAWS 5K Virtual Fun Run, Walk and Wag, and COSTUME CONTEST!

Run 3.1 miles any time between 10/24 and 10/31, record it, and show us your time! Use any app (Map My Run, Nike Run Club, Runkeeper, etc.) that will show the date of your run and your time and distance, and take a photo of your screen. Upload your time manually on the "RESULTS" tab Virtual Event option and then upload your confirmation photo on the "PHOTOS" tab to your own album tied to your name and bib number to be considered for a prize (no cheating!).  

Prize Categories for Runners:
• Fastest time- male
• Fastest time- female

If you want to compete for a walker prize, between 10/24 and 10/31, use an activity app that records distance (Map My Walk, iPhone Activity App, etc.). Record your longest same day distance (snap a photo of your best single walk) or your longest distance for the whole race week (snap a distance photo each day) and upload your confirmation photo(s) to your own album on the "PHOTOS" tab to be considered for a prize (no bicycles or cars!).  
 
Prize Categories for Walkers:
• Longest single distance walk in one day
• Longest total distance for the week

One entry to the Costume Contest is included with each Run or Walk race registration, or you can register yourself, your child, or your pet (all types of pets are welcome) for only $10 each in the costume contest.

Each submission accepted between 10/10 and 10/31 will be through a single (tasteful and publicly appropriate) photograph of you (or your child or pet or a team of you and others) in a costume. Please upload your costume photo(s) (one photo per event registration) to your own album on the "PHOTOS" tab and tag yourself to be considered for a prize. Once all submissions are in, the polls will open to everyone to vote on your favorites! Voting instructions will follow.

Prizes will be awarded to the best costumes with the most votes in the following categories:
• Best Adult Costume (18 and over),
• Best Child Costume (17 and under)
• Best Team Costume (2 or more people in a group photo)
• Best Dog Costume
• Best Cat Costume
• Best "Other" Pet Costume
