Maryland Ensemble Theatre (MET) is a 24-year-young professional, non-profit theatre dedicated to inspiring passion for the arts with courageous, relevant, accessible programs that enable people to feel more, think deeper, and laugh longer.
While we are mission-driven to provide top-notch live entertainment to all members of our community, COVID-19 has stunted our growth, halted our operations, displaced our staff and artists, and made our mission difficult to achieve.
Nonetheless, artists are nothing if not tenacious: Since the shutdown, MET has been hard at work! Our 40-person artist ensemble has been donating its time and talents to keep MET afloat. With virtual classes and camps, Comedy Night offerings online, and our first of a six-show virtual season online now, we are prepared to resume creating, realize our mission, and sweat for our art.
