Explore Where You Belong | Virtual Run, Walk & Ride

Join Ottawa County and 'Explore Where You Belong'! This year, we are doing something a little different in place of the 231 River Run. We’ll be offering a virtual, convenient, family-friendly, all-fitness-levels event that will again, serve as a fundraiser for paved trails. We have three rivers in Ottawa County and we invite you to run, walk, or bike with us on a date of your choosing from August 7 to August 23 on one or ALL of the following trails along our waterways! Gather your friends and family to explore together. Maps will be available at shirt pick-up (August 5th, 2-7PM AND August 17th, 3-5PM) and emailed to participants.

Grand River Greenway - paved
1-Connor Bayou to Riverside Park (out and back) - GH Township
2-Grand Ravines (loop) - Jenison
Macatawa River Greenway - paved - Holland/Zeeland
3-Upper Macatawa Natural Area (out and back)
Pigeon River Greenway - natural surface - West Olive
4-Pigeon Creek Park (loop)

Your participation, along with donations and sponsorships, raises funds for paved West Michigan trails including the Idema Explorers Trail, through the Ottawa County Parks Foundation. Sponsors this year include JP Morgan Chase, GCSI Inc, Enterprise Fleet Management, Nichols and Imagesoft.
