5K Glow Run for Covenant Women's and Children's Health

The event will be located at Saginaw Valley State University. The start of the event will be held in one of the parking lots (H-Lot) noted on a university map. This parking lot is by the Health and Human Services building directly adjacent from the newly-renamed Gilbertson Hall. All runners should arrive an hour early to event to ensure that numbers can be distributed and check-in can occur. Runners are encouraged, although optional, to wear white or another form of bright clothing for this event as it will be at night. If registered in time, runners are guaranteed a T-Shirt. A surplus will be bought, although quantities will be extremely limited, and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. A variety of glow accessories will be available for purchase at the event for wear during the run. The course has minimal lighting to allow the course to be seen, but also allow the glow accessories to serve their purpose as well. This is a run-walk, run event and families are encouraged to attend as well as a great way to have family fun! All proceeds will be donated to Women's and Children's Health at Covenant Hospital. Times will be collected and shared with those runners who would like to use it for their athletic benefit. NO awards will be given to the fastest runner in various age groups as this is strictly a benefit for raising money for a donation. Although, to attract runners, as previously stated, times will be collected for athletic benefits. We hope to see many people from the community there, as well as many members from the Saginaw Valley State University family!
