Pick your strategy, for example: run the 1st mile hard to compete for the fastest mile and walk the 2nd two miles, OR run the 1st two miles hard to compete for the fastest two mile and jog the third, OR run 3 as fast as you can to compete for the fastest 3 mile, OR run or walk 3 miles at whatever pace you like because we’re really just here to have fun!
