Light Up The Night 2 Mile Dr. Bill Tucker Memorial Walk

Race will start and end at SMCC's John I. Hurst Stadium.
Hotdogs and drinks provided at the end of the memory walk.

Southwest MS Community College PTK is sponsoring a memory walk in honor of Dr. Bill Tucker; Dr. Tucker was a long time employee of SMCC, and he is a community leader, loving husband, father, and grandfather.  Dr. Tucker tragically lost his life spring 2022 due to gun
violence.  We are sponsoring a memory walk in his honor to raise money for the Dr. Bill Tucker Foundation, raise awareness, and create unity for our SMCC family and community family.  Dr. Bill Tucker was an avid outdoorsman; he hiked the Appalachian Trail. In addition, he was an athlete; he religiously walked or ran 2 miles every morning at the SMCC track before work.  We plan to Light up the Night in memory of his dedication to his family, community, and his faith.  

 ********Must register for walk by October 21, to be guaranteed a t-shirt.  We will not have extra at the event.

We will start and stop at the SMCC track.
