Summer Sizzler 10K & 5K

The Summer Sizzler 10K starts near the amphitheater at Greenfield Lake. For 0.4 miles you run on Lake Shore Drive, then move onto the paved running trail for the rest of the course. At approximately the 1-mile point 10K runners do a short loop, return and run past the start and circle the lake staying on the trail all the way back to the finish. The course is mostly shaded, flat and very picturesque. There are (3) water stops for 10K runners with cold water and Gatorade.

The Summer Sizzler 5K starts near the amphitheater at Greenfield Lake. For 0.4 miles you run on Lake Shore Drive, then move onto the paved running trail for the rest of the course. At the 1.5-mile point 5K runners do a U-turn on the paved trail and return to the finish at the amphitheater. The course is mostly shaded, flat and very picturesque. The race features tank top running shirts, Bobble Head trophies for winners, age group awards are nice medals. There is (1) water stop for 5K runners with cold water and Gatorade.
