The Virtual Everest Challenge: Conquer the Summit from Home!
Are you ready to test your limits this spring and summer? Join us for a massive virtual elevation challenge and summit Mount Everest without ever leaving your home!
From April 1st to September 1st, your mission is to accumulate the exact elevation gain of the tallest mountain on Earth. Whether you are hitting local trails, cycling hills, running stadium steps, or climbing the stairs every foot counts toward the summit.
The Challenge Details
The Goal: 29,032 feet (8,849 meters) of total elevation gain.
The Timeline: April 1 to September 1 (153 Days).
The Pace: Average just 190 feet of climbing per day, or conquer it in massive weekend pushes!
The Activities: Hike, walk, run, cycle, or climb stairs. If you are moving up, it counts.
Climb: Get outside (or inside) and start racking up that vertical gain starting April 1st.
Earn Your Gear: Reach the 29,032-foot summit by September 1st.
You will receive 1000 points in the Delta Dental
Mountain Challenge!
OPTIONAL: Share your progress by submitting a photo to the Delta Dental Mountain Challenge website or tracking it in our shared spreadsheet, which will be ready on April 1st.
