ARE STROLLERS ALLOWED?
Yes, we love kids! Please start near the back of the pack for everyone's safety.
ARE DOGS ALLOWED?
No, sorry. While we love dogs too, for the safety and comfort of all runners, dogs are not permitted.
WHERE CAN I PARK?
Street parking is available and free.
HOW CAN I REGISTER FOR THE KIDS FUN RUN?
The Kids Fun Run is organized by the Home and School Association, not the First Aid Squad. The HSA typically posts a registration link on the school web site in May. Check out avonschool.com.
WHERE ARE THE POST-RACE REFRESHMENTS?
While you are out having a wonderful race, our team will be setting up tables with water, cups of sports drink, food (typically bagels and fruit) on Ocean Avenue. Please keep walking up Ocean Avenue toward the pool after crossing the finish line.
WHERE CAN I FIND THE RESULTS?
Results will be posted on this website (click "Results" on the bottom of the page). Hard copy results will be posted on bulletin boards on the fence of the town pool, on Norwood Avenue.
SPEAKING OF RESULTS ...
Our friends at Elite Racing Systems will start recording your time WHEN YOU CROSS THE RUBBER MAT AT THE START and stop recording your time WHEN YOU CROSS THE RUBBER MAT AT THE FINISH. The mats are on Ocean Avenue. Please cross the mat both times, or your time will not be recorded.
