Shannon Fernandes organizes the Covid Walk to Remember in Fall River, Massachusetts. This year, the walk honors her two loving uncles, Jack and Ronnie Fernandes, along with all the others who have passed away due to COVID-19.

Jack Fernandes, who lost his battle with Covid-19 on December 31, 2020, was a cherished husband, father, brother, papa, and friend to many. Ronnie Fernandes, who passed away from Covid-19 on November 15, 2022, was a loving husband, father, big brother, pa, and friend to many.

The walk aims to honor the memories and legacies of all who have passed away. It serves as a reminder that together we never walk alone throughout our grief journey.

Participants will gather at the picnic tables near the Veterans Memorial Wall, marked by yellow balloons. The community is invited to join in remembering and honoring those lost to Covid-19. Your participation makes a difference.
