This one mile race starts at 1:00 and is open for anyone capable of running or run/walking one mile. This is the non-competitive portion of our race.

Women's Elite Heat
The Elite Heat of the Belmar Parade Day Mile is open exclusively to those runners capable of a fast mile time. Women must be capable of running better than a 6:45 minute mile. This is the race for those who are competing for the monetary prizes. Men's and women's awards available.

Men's Elite Heat
The Elite Heat of the Belmar Parade Day Mile is open exclusively to those runners capable of a fast mile time. Men must be capable of running better than a 6:00 minute mile. This is the race for those who are competing for the monetary prizes. Men's and women's awards available.
