Pumpkin Festival 5k Run & Walk (and Kids Run)

This is the 5k Run. You may sprint, run, jog, trot, skip, and/or walk any or all of this course.

This is a 5k Walk. By definition, walking means you MUST have one foot on the ground AT ALL TIMES! You may NOT sprint, run, jog, skip, or trot one single step. To do so means you are cheating. If you are seen cheating, you will be disqualified without refund. Parents, please explain this to your children as it is not fair to other participants who are walking. You wouldn't allow them to ride their bike in the race, right? Please don't let him or her run.

This is the so-called "heavyweight" division for Runners:
210 lbs for the Men
170 lbs for the Women
There is no weigh in. Most race participants are honest. If you say you have met the weight requirement, we believe you.
Please note: If you sign up in this division, you are NOT eligible for regular Age Group awards.

Hand-cyclist and wheelchair division. Top 3 Overall trophies awarded.

All kids 12 and under receive a mini-pumpkin and a pumpkin medallion. Parents need not be participating in the 5k to have a child participate in this event. This will be run in waves, oldest kids first. Parents are welcome to run with their young ones.
