13th Annual Great Eastern State Breakout Race and Kids Fun Run
Join us for this one-of-a-kind 5K USATF-sanctioned road race through Fairmount and Historic Girard College. Then, enjoy one of the best post-race breakfasts in the City of Philadelphia. Also, new this year is our inaugural 1/2 mile Kids Fun Run around the Historic Eastern State Penitientiary.
Prizes are awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers, the top team, and top male and female in the following age groups: 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 & over.
Proceeds from the event benefit the Police Survivors Fund of Philadelphia and the Friends of Eastern State Penitentiary Park.
