Award winning author Jennifer A. Miller will be talking about her book Running: A Love Story about her own running journey. Jen also writes for Runners World, New York Times, Washington Post on running.
The Saucony Freedom, a brand new running shoe, will also be unveiled. This newly designed shoe set to launch in 2017. Test shoes will be available !

January 25, 2017 Movie Night: Saint Ralph
Come out and enjoy some popcorn and the humor and inspiration of Saint Ralph (PG-13). A ninth grader attempts to perform a miracle by winning the 1954 Boston Marathon. Super fun Movie !
Also that night, a representative from Brooks will be showing their newly designed shoes.

February 1, 2017 Nutrition and Fueling for Runners
Runner’s World Food and Nutrition Editor Heather Mayer Irvine will hold a seminar on proper nutrition and fueling for runners. (She is rumored to have lots of free samples). Don’t miss this one !
Also on hand will be a rep from Nathan to show their gear and hydration systems.

February 8, 2017 Heart Rate Training
Dr. Fred Sylvester will lead a session on how to train using your heart rate as a guide. A great way to train for all runners.
Garmin will have a rep available to show their selection of run-tracking devices including those with heart rate monitors.

February 22, 2017 The History of Runner’s World/live Youtube show
Runner’s World editors Ali Nolan and Hannah McGoldrick will talk about the first 50 years of Runner’s World and where the magazine is headed in the digital future. Running related games and trivia. Ali and Hannah are the hosts of the Runner’s World Youtube show Super Secret Mystery Meeting. Arrive early for this one as we expect a huge crowd. Thanks Runner's World !!
Altra running shoes will be on hand with a display of their unique style of running shoe.

March 15, 2017 Movie Night: Without Limits
Steve Prefontaine was America’s premier middle distance runner in the early ‘70’s and the rock star of American running before his death at the age of 24. Without Limits (PG-13) follows his life from his youth, his years at the University of Oregon and the Munich Olympics before his tragic death in an automobile crash. This is a great movie that all runners must see !

Come out to each clinic for pizza, light refreshments and drinks with your fellow runners
All clinics will be 7 – 8:30 pm at 42 Glocker Way (two doors down from CCRS)
