Tails on the Trails Dog Festival 5k Run/Walk and 1-2 Mile Fun Hike
WHO: Runners and Walkers of all ages. Gather your family, friends and co-workers and of course your canine friends! 5K Run/Walk will begin at 10am. We are also offering an untimed 1-2 mile fun hike. The course is stroller and wheelchair accessible. Most importantly, leashed canine running/walking companions are welcome. Please no retractable leashes, and don’t forget to pick up after your pup.
WHAT: Tails on the Trails is a fundraiser to help Siberian Huskies. This is the 15th Annual event, and new this year we will be hosting a 5K professionally timed race! Canicross runners welcome: only 1-dog per runner allowed. 2-dogs per a handler is acceptable for the Fun Hike.
WHEN: Saturday, November 4, 2017 (Rain or Shine)
8:30 a.m. – Registration/ Packet Pick-up
10:00 a.m. – 5k Run/Walk begins
Approx 10:30 a.m. – 1 or 2 mile Fun Hike begins.
11:00 a.m. – 5K Awards

AMENITIES: T-shirt to all pre-registrants of 5K and an awesome “goodie” bag, plus a dog bandana. Indoor toilet facilities, loads of parking, time clock at finish and instant results. Lots of fun activities for humans and dogs. Held rain or shine. No refunds or mailed awards. Results on www.pretzelcitysports.com in 1-2 days.
5K Run AWARDS: Medals will be presented to Overall Male and Female completing the course without a dog. Additionally, we will present Medals to the Overall Male and Female Winners completing the course with a dog. Awards will also be presented to the top three (with or without a dog) Male and Female finishers in each of the following age brackets: 14 and Under, 15-19 years, 20-29 years, 30-39 years, 40-49 years, 50-59 years, 60+ years.
WHERE: The event will take place at the Warminster Community Park, 300 Veterans Way, Warminster, PA. Access to the event will be via the entrance off Street Road. This is a flat and fast course!
