Arkema 5K Race & One Mile Fun Run

The One Mile Fun Run is open to all ages, but all awards are limited to 12 & Under. Medals are provided to the top three finishers. Additionally, ribbons are provided for all finishers. Children may have one free escort.

The course features moderate elevation changes and no switchbacks. It is a separate course from the 5K event.

Circuit runners consider this course above average in hardness. New runners typically find their lungs and legs shredded more than expected. The course does feature elevation changes, flat open areas, and no switchbacks. Your competition will NOT be your only challenge for the morning.

The Men's and Women's course records both have a $250 cash bounty for breaking them, but they are both over a decade old. Prepare for a fight against the clock if you pursue them.

The 5K run includes age group awards for the top three male and female runners in the following age groups: 0-14; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; and 65-69; 70-74; 75-79; and 80 & Over.

Teams are provided one first place award for five team members (but teams can be larger than five). Teams must have a minimum of five finishing members to qualify for the placement. Team categories include male, female, and mixed gender. All ages may participate in team competition. Declare your team at registration during the morning of the race.

The 5K Walk course features elevation changes, flat open areas, and no switchbacks. Your skills at race walking will be put to the test as your competition won't be the only challenge that you'll face.

The 5K walk includes age group awards for the top three male and female walkers in the following age groups: 0-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70-79; and 80 & Over.
