Register to run or walk a 5K, at your own pace during April, raising awareness and support for efforts to prevent infant abandonment in our country!
Each $25 registration fee (plus processing fee) includes a commemorative 2026 April RunWalk for Babies medal, mailed to you at the end of the month! Refer 5 friends to register and receive $20 back from your registration cost! The top individual or team that meets or exceeds their goals by the end of the month will also receive recognition and a gift from NSHA after the event!
More Details:
1.) Register to run or walk a 5K, at your own pace, during April, and set a fundraising goal (in any amount) to raise support for NSHA's mission to end infant abandonment in our country. (*Note: This is a fundraising event, but fundraising is not required to participate.) Refer 5 friends to register and receive $20 back from your registration cost!
Event t-shirts are available for purchase separately, and ordering one supports our mission!
2.) After you register, create/share your goal tracking/donation page with others in your network. This can be done via Facebook Fundraiser, QR code, or via a link to this event website. (Instructions provided when you register.)
3.) Share NSHA's mission, social media posts, and your goal progress on your social media platforms throughout Safe Haven awareness month and complete your goal by the end of the month!
You can also create a team and run or walk together in your community to create greater awareness! This is a fun way to raise awareness of the life-saving Safe Haven laws, the National Safe Haven Alliance's mission to end infant abandonment, and the 24/7 confidential Safe Haven hotline for parents in need: 1-888-510-BABY.
