Jaunt for Justice 5K
The Spilman Thomas & Battle Jaunt for Justice 5K is a 5K run/walk out and back on the Roanoke River Greenway, starting and ending at River's Edge Sports Complex - North.
Race Packet Pickup will be Friday, October 3rd, from 12 noon to 6 p.m. at Runabout Sports Roanoke.
On-site packet pickup/registration starts at 7:30 a.m. The Kids' 0.5K Fun Run will start at 8:10 a.m. Start time for 5K race is 8:30 a.m.

We will be raffling some amazing prizes donated by local businesses after the medal ceremony. Each participant in the in-person 5K will receive one entry into the raffle - additional chances can be purchased on the day of the race at the registration tent. You must be present to win!
RND Coffee will be on-site after the race with hot coffee and their signature freshly made donuts!

For the safety of our participants, we will only cancel the race due to natural causes, terrorist attacks, flooding, or other things that will would put the safety of the runners or spectators at risk. If we have to cancel an event, we would defer your entry for the next year or allow you to run virtually.

VIRTUAL Jaunt for Justice 5K
If you want to participate in the Spilman Thomas & Battle Jaunt for Justice 5K and support the Legal Aid Society, but are unable to be there in person, join the Virtual Jaunt for Justice 5K!
Pick your own 5K route, and run or walk along with other participants. You can, if you wish, submit your time on the race website upon completion of your run. Virtual runners will not be eligible for medals.

Jaunt for Justice 0.5K Kids' Fun Run
The Jaunt for Justice Kids' 0.5K Fun Run will be a short (0.31 mile) out and back fun run on the Roanoke River Greenway at River's Edge Sports Complex - North. The Kids' Fun Run will start at 8:10 a.m., immediately followed by the 5K. All Kids' Fun Run participants will receive a finisher medal!
