Nurses week is May 6th-12th 2022 and so is our 2nd Annual Nurses Run for Education 5K virtual event! Participants can run or walk at their own pace and without judgement anywhere you choose. The purpose of this annual event is to support our nursing students and our nursing program at Virginia Western Community College, while promoting a sense of community and compassion in our local region.
Will you run or walk with us? If you are not interested in running or walking but desire to donate, please consider! All proceeds support our student nurses and nursing program through purchasing instructional material, innovative teaching methods, faculty professional development to stay current and awarding student nurses financially through the Spirit of Nursing Award through nomination during their 4th semester.
