5K Run
USATF Certified Course ( certification Pending)
A Colonial Road Runners Grand Prix Event and a Hampton Roads Super Grand Prix Event and a leg of the Historic Triple Crown
•5K Run Team - team scores the top 4 for each team
A team consists of 5 or more members. (Can be gender specific but does not have to be.) Team affiliation must be declared before 6pm on 4/18/24
Three Team Awards:
Fastest Team- Cumulative Time of top four
Largest Team- Team with the most members
Largest Donation- Team that raises the most money
•5K Run Top 3 Age Group awards for 8 and under, 9-10, 11-12, 13-15, 16-19, then five year increments up to 80 and over
•5K Run Masters Top 3, medals, Male and Female
•5K Competitive Walk Top 3, medals, male and female

5K Run/Walk
This event is not a competitive WALK event. This category is for participants who want to run and walk the course but are reluctant to sign up as runners.
These participants are eligible for the awards in the Run category
(No separate run/walk awards).

5K Run/Walk Discounted for Students Only.

5K Competitive Walk

As a competitive walker, you must walk the entire course. You cannot run in any part of the course or you will be disqualified from the competitive walk.
• Awards top three overall Male & Female walker

1 Mile Fun Run

1 Mile Fun Run before 5K Event
This event is not timed. Use the clock at the Finish line to get your time.

Run/walk your 5K anytime, anywhere, through Apr. 15th 2023! Must register by 6 PM on Friday, Apr. 19, 2024.

The virtual participant will receive a finishing medal and a t-shirt. Virtual participants are not eligible to win any awards. This event is not transferable.

Virtual participants are eligible for the Triple Crown, but must run or walk the certified Run the D.O.G. St. course. Virtual participants cannot use results from another 5K race!
