Last Mile Ride

At 6 p.m. on Friday evening, runners will gather for a timed 5K run. The cost to participate is $25 per person, but we encourage you to raise more. Runners are asked to register before 5:00 PM on Friday afternoon so they can be entered into the event’s timing system.

At 6 p.m. on Friday evening, walkers can enjoy a 1-mile loop around "hospital hill", starting and ending at the hospital. Perfect for those who want to participate with children in or out of strollers. The cost to participate is $25 per person, but we encourage you to raise more.

At 10 a.m. on Saturday, cyclists will set out on a scenic route and will return to Gifford for a barbecue lunch, prizes and free massages. This is a casual non-timed event (not a race). Cyclists are asked to raise a minimum of $50 to participate, but we encourage you to raise more.

This is the 10th year of this annual event! While the route has been expanded over the years, we remain committed to a well-organized event with road guards, a sheriff escort, and police support along the way. The route is not yet finalized, but will run around 80 miles. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, and bikers will leave at 10 a.m. There will be a mid-way break point, and participants will return to Gifford for an early afternoon barbecue lunch, prizes and massages. Motorcyclists are asked to raise a minimum of $50 ($75 for a rider and passenger) to participate, but we encourage you to raise more.
