Improve Your 5k
This is a 6-week running program designed to improve your 5k leading up to the Inaugural Chili Burn run on September 24th.
The program will be led by Scott Sekelsky. Scott is the fitness and wellness program manager at Western Wisconsin Health. He also has over 20 years of high school and collegiate run coaching experience. Including coaching a national champion in the women's 5k (2008) and being inducted into the UW-River Falls Hall of Fame (2021).
The cost of the 6-week program is $75 and includes the following:
* Race entry into the Inaugural Chili Burn 5k on September 24, 2022.
* 6-week 5k training program that you can follow on your own.
* Meet on Tuesday's on WWH trail system during the program (6:30 am - 7 am) for a running workout led by Scott.
* Weekly email check ins.
-To participate in this program, you should be able to currently run 2 miles without stopping and must be vaccinated from COVID-19 incase of weather pushing workout inside.
--The Tuesday workouts will take place on the WWH trail system. We will meet behind the fitness center near the new turfed outdoor exercise area.
