Hannah's Giggle Gallop- 5K Run/Walk & Kid's Fun Run

This 5K Run/Walk heads down under the Portland Bridge on the bike path. The course crosses the Rock River on a foot bridge and then continues back up along the west side of the river on the bike path and goes under the Portland Bridge once again. The course continues past the high school, around Wootton Park, over the Henry Ave. Bridge, and then back down the scenic bike path along the river. Just before getting to the Rotary Center’s Parking lot, the course loops back up past Turtle Island and around the lagoon and then follows sidewalks to the finish line near the Jones Pavilion. There will be a water station after mile 1. The jokes Hannah used to tell using her communication device will be posted on signs throughout the course to keep her memory alive and inspire plenty of giggles along the way!

The ½ Mile Kids Fun Run will start and finish in front of the Jones Pavilion. It will loop around the grass and Rotary Center using sidewalks. Parents are welcome to run along with your children if necessary or cheer them on at the finish line.
