MEDLIFE'S Active For Agua 5K
The Problem: 3.4 millions people die each year from a water related disease. This can be easily prevented by simple measures and precautions and access to clean water. People of Pamplona Alta in Lima, Perú suffer every day from a lack of access to clean water. Many of them are forced to use refuse to hold their water such as these discarded industrial barrels. Some of which were used to hold power and toxic chemicals.
The Solution: The first step to alleviate this problem is to provide a safe location to store water. A filter system attached to the tanque to clean any potential contamination coming from the water delivery services. Preventative care given by alleviating the stress of one of the basic necessities of life.
