The Official GORUCK Division sponsored by GORUCK!
This Official GORUCK Division event is a 13+ mile course in which participants must carry the required weight in your rucksack (backpack/vest) for the entire course and also finish under a certain amount of time. The amount of time varies based on the course and distance. We will announce the time limit on event day. If you are under 150 lbs., you must carry a 20 LB weight and if you are over 150 lbs. carry 30.
WHEN: Saturday, March 23, 2019
START TIME: 8:15AM for EVERYONE (Please arrive 1 hour before Race time to allow time to park, check in and stretch)
WHERE: San Felasco Hammock Preserve State Park, 13201 Progress Blvd. Alachua, Florida 32615
Official GORUCK Division Awards: All Rucker’s will receive a finishers medal (whichever medal is given at that event for the trail run), if you finish within the time limit you will also score the “Official GORUCK Division” patch, and finally 1st Place male/female will score an award medal!
AID STATIONS / WATER STOPS: We will have 3 water stations on course. We strongly recommend everyone to run with a hydration pack as its most likely going to be a hot morning and we want everyone to stay hydrated. We will have snacks, Tailwind Nutrition, Pickle Juice, and water at the Finish line for all to enjoy.
