Hard to believe it's already been 10 years since we all celebrated Bob Goldblatt's 70th birthday at the Westport Summer Series. With the COVID-19 pandemic making a reprise gathering impossible, we've decided to celebrate "Bob(ooch) Breaking 80" with a Virtual Challenge!
You'll be able to run, bike, swim, walk or even do pushups and situps, all in some multiple of 80, over the course of EIGHT days leading up to Bob Breaking 80 on July EIGHTeenth, of course. You can join in from wherever you are. Post your results each day and watch your progress, compete against others, and Bobooch himself!
All of the Challenges are free to enter. There will be commemorative Bobooch Running Club shirts available for purchase, and we're asking participants to make a donation to support the Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium in Sarasota, one of Bob's favorite charities.
