Runner's Edge Youth Summer Training Group

6 week summer training program starting on June 17th and ends on July 27th. The group will meet up 3 times a week on Tuesday's and Thursday's from 6pm-7:30pm at Spanish River Library and Runners Edge and on Saturday's at 6:30am-8am it will be hosted at Runner's Edge. The program will include educational talks along with fun activities to create a cohesive bond and relationship among the youth in the Palm Beach and North Broward county. This will include getting a custom singlet and food/beverages for after the runs.

We would like to give back to the community by investing in the youth while creating lifelong runners in conjunction with Runner’s Edge and the Palm Beach County High School running community. The program will culminate in a 3k race.

Head Coach Paul Glick: Current Collegiate Division 1 Cross country and Track runner for FAU. He is on many of FAU’s top 10 all-time performance lists. His cross country PR’s are 25:41 for the 8k and 33:05 for the 10k. His track PR’s are 15:21 for the 5k and 8:45 for the 3k.

Will Nuneville: Undergraduate Assistant for FAU currently pursuing a nursing degree. Two years of collegiate running experience at FAU. His notable PRs include 17:06 for the 5k, 9:52 for the 3k, and 22:57 for 4 miles. 

Mike Stone: The Director of this summer program. The majority of runners on the FAU all-time lists were coached by him. He has years of coaching experience at FAU, a USATF certification, top-tier mentorship, the ability to write tailored workouts, and invaluable insights. His most notable athletes include: Michael Vidal: HS PR of 17:06/Collegiate 14:30 & 3:45 1500m. Lachlan Shiver: HS PR of 17:46/Collegiate 14:49

Tom Vladimir: Owner of Runners Edge, USATF Certified, and former FAU Head Coach . Tom has years of experience behind coaching a multitude of athletes over the years within the Palm Beach county running community.
