Seahawks Summer Scramble

STRONGER TOGETHER! The Cape Coral Cross Country & Track teams are pleased to announce that we will be hosting a virtual race event (5K and 1 mile fun run) where school and community members and affiliates can come together in a virtual environment to challenge our bodies and minds! Now more than ever we need a strong sense of will to promote and maintain healthy lifestyles while we carry on together through this unique time in our lives.

Anyone can register to run, jog, or walk to help support the Cape Coral High School Activities & Athletics program. The virtual race will be held over a 3-day period (Friday, June 12th - Sunday June 14th) so you have some flexibility to challenge yourself whenever and wherever works best for you! The best part... this run is designed to be what you make of it! The pace is yours, the time of day, and the location... even if you are stuck in quarantine you can run around your house... all up to you! If you want to plan a group FaceTime and all run together, run as a family, or a Zoom meeting, get creative, now is the time! Just be sure that you are in a safe environment and in compliance with all the public health guidelines currently set.

All participants will receive a free custom race shirt via mail after completion of the race. During registration you will be asked to sign up for text messages or email which will allow you to submit your time. Feel free to submit photos of your run and your results and we will be happy to share out on our social media outlets. Registration ends May 29th at 11:59 PM so get out and register!
