Start time: 7:15 AM 10k & 7:30 AM 5k
Both the 5k and 10k are out and back, and have the same start and finish line. This venue is great for spectators too!
The SWAG: Each finisher will receive a gender specific singlet, custom medal, post race food and beverage.
Packet Pickup: Friday March 8 from 2 PM - 6 PM at Dash Sports, 741 W Montrose St Clermont, FL 34711. You may pick up race bibs for a friend but you must have their QR code and correct spelling of their name. This will avoid all spelling errors and the possibility of you picking up the wrong packet!! PACKETS NOT PICKED UP BY RACE MORNING WILL NOT BE HELD. VIRTUAL PACKETS WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE SHIPPED 2 WEEKS AFTER THE RACE. Race day registration and packet pickup will be at Lake Louisa State Park down by the parking area from 6:00AM-7:00AM. We will not have paper registrations, all registrations must be
Awards: Male and Female: Top 3 Overall, 1st place Masters (40+) 1st place Grand Masters (50+), Top 3 in each 10 year age group 9 & under, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+ . Awards will be announced starting at 8:30am with the 5k (maybe sooner) followed by the 10k. Results can be checked online at the end of the event. We will no longer be holding awards at Dash Sports to be picked up within a week. We want to encourage all our top finishers to stay for awards and cheer each other on. You've got to get on that podium and let us celebrate you.
Teams: That's right, it's bragging time!! Create a group with your friends, make it an office party or drag your family for some friendly competition. Start the trash talk and put your sneakers where your mouth is. Teams of 4 or more will receive $5 off each participant. Upon creating the team, the first 3 registrants will pay full price, once the team minimum of 4 members has been reached, the previous 3 registrations will receive an automatic $5 refund. All registrations to the same team after that will already reflect the $5 discount. Team discount cannot be combined with any other offer. Teams with a minimum of 15 members can set up a tent at the finish line with prior approval from the Race Director. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
Parking: As you enter the park volunteers will be directing participants to our designated parking area. The park gates will be opened at 5am. Please keep in mind the race parking and staging area has changed from previous years, you will not be taking a shuttle to the start. Parking is now close to the start and finish line.
State Park Fee: We will also send an email closer to the event to ask you to purchase the Lake Louisa Park Pass of $5 per vehicle. If you have an annual Florida park pass you will not need to buy an additional park pass but you must have it on you upon entering the park. Carpooling is highly recommended.
There will be no dogs, skateboards, inline skates or bicycles allowed to race in this event. If you are a wheelchair participant please contact the race director. If you must have a stroller we just ask that you please line up at the back of the pack. Dogs are NOT allowed on course. If you have a service dog please contact the race director ahead of time at email@example.com. Participants with dogs will be asked to leave the course.

As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, The Friends of Lake Louisa State Park, Inc. relies on members, volunteers, and donations to fulfill its mission to enhance the park and actively engage community support. They use community based activities, fundraising events and outreach efforts to raise funds and to increase awareness in the community about our precious Florida Native Habitat and Park amenities available to the community.
Event Transfers: Are you unable to make it? You may log in to your Run Signup.com account and transfer to a different event. The only cost will be the difference between the race for which you signed up and the current price of the race you now want to do, plus the transaction fee. If you transfer down there will not be a refund. Please refer to our refund policy section for more details on transfer deadlines. We will not field requests to transfer via email the week of the race.
