Pack Your Bags and get Ready for your flight at the Fernandina Beach Municipal Airport for the 2nd Annual Run The Runway 5K on Saturday, December 3rd, 2022!
This one-of-a-kind race is unlike any other! You will have the ability to go where few have gone before and run on active runways at the Fernandina Beach Municipal Airport! This race is being hosted by the Southern Timing Foundation, Inc. 100% of the net proceeds from this race will go towards powering a flight expedition to provide STEM education resources to over 10,000 underserved kids via PASSAGE.
PASSAGE stands for Providing Aid in Science for South America's General Education. The PASSAGE expedition will embark at this event! Come celebrate the start of this amazing journey with us!
Race Details
The 2nd Annual Run The Runway 5K will take place on Saturday, December 3rd, 2022 at the Fernandina Beach Municipal Airport starting at 8:00am! This one-of-a-kind race will have you starting, running & finishing on an actual runway! There is a 25% discount for participants 17 & Under, this discount is automatically applied during registration.

Shirts, Medals & More!
All participants will receive a commemorative finisher medal, race shirt, bag filled with supplies from our sponsors and a flight patch from PASSAGE! Is one shirt not enough? During registration you will be able to purchase additional shirts! Register by November 15th, 2021 to receive a bib with your first name on it!
Timing
This race will be Chip Timed by Southern Timing, LLC. Southern Timing will be providing individual results pages with finisher certificates and a 20-second-long video of each participant crossing the start and finish line!

Top 3 Male & Female Overall Winners
Top 3 in Each Age Group:
10 & Under, 11-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & Over.

We are currently accepting sponsorships for the 2nd Annual Run The Runway 5K as well as PASSAGE! Sponsorship levels range from a booth sponsor on Race Day to the Presenting Sponsor of the race! The Virtual Race
Can't make it to the in-person race in Jacksonville? Don't worry! With our virtual option you can run or walk from anywhere inside the United States! Virtual Participants will receive a downloadable race bib with access to the ACISCS Runkeeper App to track your 5K! Once the race has been completed you will receive your shirt and medal in the mail! Shipping is included with your registration!
