Sam's Virtual Run/Race to Support Team Home Base

Welcome to my Virtual Fun Run and Race- where you can choose your distance, your route, and your pace for a shot at winning some amazing prizes! The event is free and open to anyone at any level of fitness! While it is a race, you don't have to win to walk away with one of the great prizes! It is designed to be a fun way to connect and get active, as well as raise some funds for my NYC Marathon Team: Home Base. Home Base provides a holistic approach to treating our country's veterans and their families who are suffering from PTSD and Traumatic Brain Injuries. How does this Virtual Race Work?
1) Simply register for the 1 Mile Fun-Run/Walk, 5K race, or 10K race on this page! It's free to do it, with the option to donate if you can. For every dollar you donate you get an additional entry into the raffles. 2) Using whatever workout tracker/phone/watch app you prefer (Strava, Nike Run Club, MapMyRun, Apple Workouts, etc.) on June 13th or 14th, get outside and run/walk your selected distance. Want to run indoors? Hop on your treadmill and push it!
3) After your run or walk, come back to the event page and follow these instructions: Navigate to the race's RunSignup race page > and select the Result tab > then select Submit Virtual Results! Enter in your time and BOOM- you’ve done it!
4) On Monday June 15th- I will hold the raffle to give away the amazing prizes below! Remember, every dollar donated is an extra entry and all proceeds go to Home Base!
