Uptown 5k

Compassion will take flight at Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport (FXE) on Saturday, November 18, 2023, for the 5th annual Uptown 5K on the Runway. Trustbridge Hospice Foundation and FXE invite community members of all ages and abilities to participate in a 5K fun run/walk on the FXE runway, where people, not planes, will take off from the runway. Be a part of this one-of-a-kind experience - no boarding pass or luggage fees required. Although there is no registration fee, participants are required to register. Boarding begins at 7:30am and Takeoff is at 8:30am. ​

After taking in the sights and sounds on the FXE runway, participants will disembark into the Uptown 5K Village for fun, refreshments and festivities. Join us and celebrate Aviation, the Uptown community and Compassion Towards Others. All proceeds benefit Trustbridge Hospice Foundation.

Join us as a volunteer fundraiser and raise money for Trustbridge Hospice Foundation. Trustbridge Hospice Foundation is committed to providing extraordinary care for everyone in our community, including those without insurance coverage or the ability to pay. We are dedicated to raising funds for the programs and services of Trustbridge including comfort care, charitable care, music therapy, pet therapy, adult and children’s bereavement services and children’s camps.
