Your registration for the 5K also includes admission to the After Party that evening. This event is like no other as two events are included with one ticket!
The first 100 registered receive a loaded goody bag! These participants receive a Home Tone DVD($20 value), info and freebies from area businesses, and a tee shirt.
Participants should pick up their packets the night before, March 6th from 7-9 pm at the First Baptist Christian Life Center, if possible. There will be 2 divisions: runners and walkers. Age categories will be decided based on the number and ages of registered participants. Check-in starts at 7:15 am and the race starts at 8 am.
Following the 5K, participants have time to go home, freshen up, and then return for the Health Party! Doors open at 3 pm and the main event is from 4-8 pm! Food will be available for purchase from local businesses.
The night is hosted by a local emcee, Kalia. 2Loose, Emily Dillon, and Gale MzUndastood will take the stage- they put the FUN in funny! Special guest local artists, Keydo Starr, Michael Bethea, and Al Alvarado, will sing and play popular songs as well as some originals. Our key note speaker, Jennifer Nelson will share with us the importance of being "fit to fight." With this mindset, we can be proactive in our health instead of reactive if problems arise. She is also the author of the book, Divine Soldier, and has recently met Mrs. Michelle Obama. Then get your dance on with one of the best Zumba instructors on the Emerald Coast, Tammy Jenkins.
