The proceeds from this virtual 5K will go directly towards our programs, including our grant program which funds vital scientific research for conservation and science communication. The cost for registration and your shirt for participation are all together, no need to pay twice! Run Wild weekend will be September 3-5 so you can participate any day you want.

Want to run your favorite trail? Walk with your dog or family? Hike with your friends? Swim laps at your local pool? Go for it! 5K your way means you can complete your 5K whatever way you want and any day you want during our whole Run Wild weekend. The best part, you can be guaranteed your donations will go towards a good cause.
Our funds go towards vital scientific research that tends to be overlooked by larger funding agencies, such as ecology and science communication. With your help, we have already been able to award over $50,000 in grants to deserving scientists and we have no plans to slow down.
