Hunger Fight's Family Summer Family Fun Run At The Zoo

Come join us and run at the Jacksonville Zoo to support Hunger Fight's mission of significantly reducing the number of hungry children and families in the First Coast and surrounding area and feed starving children throughout the world.   This run is only 2.62 Miles so runners and walkers of any age and ability can participate.   While we are calling it a "Summer Marathon", because it's 2.62 miles instead of the ones in the winter that are 26.2 it is a distance designed for families to participate in.  (It's even shorter than the 5k's that you may hear so much about)   If you have always wanted to try a walk or run, this is a great distance for first timers and experience runners alike.   And what better way to finish a marathon than running with friends and family at the Jacksonville Zoo.  This is the first race of it's kind in Jacksonville.  

2.62 Mile Run
The 2.62 Mile course is still being finalized.  It will start at the Main Camp, wind through the Zoo, and finish at the Great Lawn.   The entire race will be run inside the Zoo.

1.31 Mile Run
For anyone not up for a 2.62 Miles, you can run half the distance.   This race will start at the same time at the Main Camp and finish on the Great Lawn as well.
