Back for the second year, Run4Beer is proud to present the Run4Beer Runtoberfest 5k to benefit the Challenged Athletes Foundation with this great 5k through the streets of Avondale.

Registration Costs - Runtoberfest 5km
All online registration fees are included in the amounts below

Virtual 5km
If you can't make it to European Street for the race, a virtual option is available. Run your own 5k wherever you want, whenever you want and with the joy of helping out the Challenged Athletes foundation. Run anywhere, anytime, anyplace. All virtual runners will receive virtual race bib by e-mail and a the same shirt given to the participants in the Jacksonville race. Shirts will be mailed out the week of the event.
Registration for the virtual 5km is $38.00 and is open through October 18, 2014
Race Awards
Custom mugs will be given to the top three males and females in the following categories,
Top 3 Male & Female Overall Finishers
Top Male & Female Masters (Over 40) Finisher
Top Three finishers in each of the following age groups: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65 & over.
The top overall male and female finisher will also receive their personal beer boot from European Street and a free pair of running shoes from Jacksonville Running Company.
Race Amenities
Runners will receive a custom shirt and many more goodies are in the works. European Street will be hosting their Octoberfest Celebration as well. Anyone running this race will receive a free beer/soft drink and if you dress up in Lederhosen or Dirndl you will receive a second beer/soft drink courtesy of European Street Cafe.

Chip Timing
The race will be chip timed using a shoe chip system. Chips will be distributed at the packet pickup. All runners must cross the mat at the finish line with their chip properly attached to their shoe to score in the race. Chips must be returned at the conclusion of the race at the finish line. Runners not returning chips will be charged a fee of $30.
Race Course
The race will be a three loop course run through the Riverside / Avondale Area.
