Please join us at the Inaugural UNITED WAY 5K RESOLUTION RUN - VIRTUAL FUNDRAISER
Presented by GEICO
Start your New Year on the right foot by participating in the Inaugural United Way Resolution Run Fundraiser Challenge presented by GEICO. This month-long challenge is the perfect way to get and stay active while raising money for United Way of Central Florida.
· Challenge yourself to complete our 5K run/walk (or Bike 10 miles!) at your own pace at your favorite track, treadmill, or just walking around your neighborhood
· Have a great time getting ACTIVE
· Earn one of the most UNIQUE participant medals around – Featuring the GEICO Gecko!
· Entry fee is $30, plus taxes and fees which are paid when registering
Proceeds benefit the United Way of Central Florida

FAQs
I’m not in Central Florida, can I still participate?
- Yes, you can participate virtually from anywhere!
Can I run Run, Walk or Bike?
- You can run or walk a 5k (3.1 mile) or you can bike at least 10 miles.
Is this open to GEICO employees only?
- No, anyone can participate to raise money for United Way of Central Florida. Participants receive a unique code to share and anyone who signs up 5 additional participants will receive a refund of their $30 registration fee.
Can I invite my friends and family to participate?
- Yes, we encourage you to share our race page with all your friends and family.
Is there a shirt for this Virtual Challenge?
- Due to the nature and registration period of this virtual challenge, there will not be a shirt for this years event. We are putting together a very cool swag bag from Geico, United Way of Central Florida and other sponsors
When can I pick up my medal and swag bag?
- Details on bag and medal pickup are To Be Determined at this time, we will post details once they are available.
What if I want to donate more than the entry fee?
- You can donate directly from the United Way page on Facebook or on the race page at (url). Anyone who raises or donates at least $150 will receive a refund of their $30 registration fee.
I’m not interested in completing in the run, can I still get a participation medal?
- We encourage all participants to complete the challenge, but your entry fee includes a participation medal and swag bag regardless of whether you complete the challenge.
Can I submit Virtual results?
- Yes you can, It is not necessary but encouraged! CLICK HERE for instructions. Your results will show up on a virtual leaderboard.
