Description
The Oakwood University Alumni Association Greater Orlando Chapter is a non-profit organization committed to providing students in the Central Florida area financial assistance to further their education. In addition, we encourage them to give back to the community through service and to volunteer as mentor who may someday become leaders in their community.
The proceeds from the race will go toward scholarships for students from the Central Florida Community who are enrolled at Oakwood University and expenses associates with the race event.
The mission of the “1-5K Run/Walk For Scholarships” is to endorse and promote Christian education, health awareness, family values and community service.
