Description
Youth 4 Orphans' 3rd annual virtual 5K will support orphaned and vulnerable children living on the island of La Gonave in Haiti. This race can be completed your own way as long as it's between July 8 and July 12. Your 5K can be done running, walking, cycling, paddle boarding, kayaking, swimming, or any other way you want to MOVE AGAINST HUNGER.
We are excited to announce that the children we support in Haiti will be participating with us again this year! When you sign up to participate, you can elect to support the entry fee for a child in the community of Betoti (Turtle Bay) on the island. Not only are we providing these children food and clean water during the event, but also the opportunity to give back to their own community. At the end of the event the participants will create bags of food (most likely beans and rice) and deliver them to nearby neighbors.
Knowing that their Y4O friends are supporting them simultaneously will help the vulnerable in Haiti also MOVE AGAINST HUNGER.
