Go Dog Go 5K Run/Walk, 1/2 Mile Dog Dash & 1/2 Mile Dog Walk

Proceeds to benefit the Southeast Volusia Humane Society.  We are a 501c(3) non-profit organization dedicated to finding forever homes for homeless animals, manage daily needs of all animals, care for the sick and injured, and educate the community.

Participants will start and end race at Norwood’s, following a safe, scenic course through the New Smyrna beachside.  Runners may run with dogs and will be asked to start at the end of the pack and keep to the right while on the course.  5K USATF Certified Course # FL10109EBM

Packet pickup for early registrants:  January 17, 10:00 am to 4 pm at Southeast Volusia Humane Society, 1200 S. Glencoe Rd., New Smyrna Beach, FL.  Packet pick up and registration is also available on race morning, at 7:00 AM, at the race site.

Join us for a morning full of family fun!  Events, door prizes, vendors, pet contests, and more!  Awards for 5K Run will be given out immediately after the event.  Awards for the ½ mile Dog Dash and 1/2 mile Pet Walk will be given out after the pet walk ends.  All 5K Run/Walk, Dog Dash and Dog Walk pre-registered participants will be guaranteed a new style t-shirt and goodie bag.

From I-4, take exit 118. From 1-95 exit 249A South Bound and 249 North Bound (SR44 East) toward New Smyrna Beach. Continue on SR-44 over South Causeway. Norwood’s will be on your left; parking for the event is across the street from Norwood’s at The Outback Plaza.

The 5K will be professionally timed and scored by RaceSmith, Inc.  The race will be timed using disposable, electronic tags attached to the bib number.  Please wear your bib number to the front, pinned at all four corners, visible, and unaltered.  Printed results will be posted at the race site and live online during the race at www.RaceSmith.com
