Great News! Iggy's Four on the Fourth is happening! We will be going Virtual, due to the current COVID guidelines. Please Help Support the Ocala-Marion County Veterans Memorial Park.  Due to the COVID-19 crisis, we will not be able to hold the event at Veteran's Memorial Park as in the past. we are presenting you all with the option of a virtual race so you can keep doing what you enjoy, helping support a worthwhile cause, while staying in compliance with the safety and health guidelines of public health officials. 

HOW VIRTUAL RACES WORK
You must register to participate and registration must be completed no later than 7/4.

You can run your virtual race anytime that is convenient for you. Results must be reported no later than Sunday 7/5/20.

You can run on any course you choose. Measure out a 4 Mile course. 16 laps around your local track. You can also use a treadmill. GPS distances and treadmill dashboards are acceptable for distance verification. If you need help mapping out a course, check out MapMyRun.com.

Patriotic 100% Cotton T-shirts, Personal American Flag, and Custom Bib for all Registrants

To guarantee you receive your shirt/flag/bib in time to have it for July 4th, you must pre-register by June 22nd. Any registrations after that will be mailed on a daily basis, but may be received after the event.

Social Distancing and Virtual Races
Please practice social distancing and other safe hygiene practices that can also help prevent the spread of germs.

  • Ensure six feet of separation between other runners and walkers at all times.
  • Move safely away from others if you need to cough or sneeze.
  • Don't shake hands.
  • Wash your hands promptly after you run.
  • If you are sick or feeling ill, stay quarantined at home and away from others.
