Run Fur Our Lives 4 Mile Run and 2 Mile Walk For The Animals

Pre-Race Packet Pick Up or Registration - Thursday, October 24, 2013 or Friday, October 25, 2013, 3:00 – 7:00 PM at the FHS Thrift Store in St. Joe Plaza (224 St. Joe Plaza Drive, Palm Coast, FL)

Race Day Registration - Saturday, October 26, 2013, 6:00 – 7:30 AM at Princess Place Preserve. Follow Princess Place Road into the Preserve and follow the posted signs to Parking & the Registration Area.

The Run - Saturday, October 26, 2013 8:00 AM sharp!

Run Course - All 4 Mile Runners will congregate at the Starting Line (at the junction point of Princess Place Road and “The Loop” - near the Mansion in the Preserve). The Run will follow clearly marked signs along the 2-mile route of the Run. Runners will make 2 rounds of the course. There will be water stations at Starting Line, the 1 and 3 mile marks, and the Finish Line. Digital time clocks will be viewable at the 1-mile mark and at the Finish.

The Walk - Saturday, October 26, 2013 11:00 AM sharp!

Walk Course - All 2 Mile Walkers will congregate at the Starting Line (at the junction point of Princess Place Road and “The Loop” - near the Mansion in the Preserve). The Walk will follow clearly marked signs along the 2-mile course of the Walk. Walkers will make 1 round of the course. There will be water stations approximately every ¼ mile along the course and at the Finish Line. The Walk is NOT TIMED. All dogs MUST be on a leash.

Amenities - Each Runner and Walker will receive a Run Fur Our Lives t-shirt (in your Pre-Race/Walk Packet) and a Post Run/Walk beverage refreshment (beer or soda – submit your wrist band to redeem your beverage).

Run Registration - Pre-Register by October 1, 2013 – Entry Fee $25.00, After October 1st – Entry Fee $30.00, Race Day Registration – Entry Fee $35.00.  No pets will be allowed in the run.

Walk Registration - Pre-Register by October 1, 2013 – Entry Fee $15.00, After October 1st - Entry Fee $20.00, Race Day Registration – Entry Fee $25.00, Groups of 4 or More: $5 discount per registrant, EACH WALKER MUST COMPLETE A REGISTRATION FORM. Dogs walk for free!

Awards - The Run will present awards to the 1st place male & female runners. The top 3 runners in each group will receive an award: 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and older. Each 2 Mile Walk finisher will receive a medallion.

Parking - Enter Princess Place Preserve (turning off Old Kings Road). Drive along Princess Place Road and follow the To Parking signs. Parking will be in a huge grassy area adjacent to the Start/Finish point of the Run/Walk. There will be Staff in the Area to assist you in parking. Please follow their direction.
