We Believe in Children 5K

The 27th Annual We Believe in Children 5K Run & Health Fair is a family-friendly event open to all walkers and runners who want to support public education and stronger communities in Escambia County. In January 2013, close to 700 runners and walkers joined the Foundation in support of public education. Funds raised from the We Believe in Children 5K are used to support Foundation programs such as Grants for Excellence teacher grants for innovative classroom projects, Take Stock in Children, which provides mentors and college scholarships to students from low-income families, and additional educational initiatives not funded by tax dollars.   The accompanying Health Fair includes complimentary samples, demonstrations, entertainment, educational opportunities, and more!   Thank you for supporting Escambia County public schools!
