Join us on Saturday, January 23rd at the Crosswater Hall, Nocatee for the Race for Change 5K run/walk.
Start Format: 7:00 a.m. 5K runners will be self seeded and begin from the START/FINISH ARCH. Over All awards will be based off of Gun Time. We ask only the ELITE RUNNERS going for the win, to toe off first at the start line. To allow for social distancing, all age group awards will be based off chip time. All proceeds will benefit the Cathedral Arts Project of Jacksonville.
The Cathedral Arts Project mission is to enrich the quality of life in Northeast Florida through unleashing the creative spirit of young people. By providing access to instruction in the visual and performing arts, we empower underserved, school-aged children to succeed in all areas of their lives. The Race for Change welcomes all to join in solidarity as we work to improve the lives of people of color in our local communities. Together we can bring awareness to the social, economic and racial barriers that persist in our society and raise funds that will support people of color though education and the arts.
