Celebrating National Hospice and Palliative Care Month
National Hospice and Palliative Care Month is celebrated every November to raise awareness about hospice and palliative care and to honor the professionals who provide this essential support to patients and their families.
National Hospice and Palliative Care Month (NHPCM) serves as a dedicated time to highlight the importance of hospice and palliative care services. It aims to educate the public about these types of care, which focus on providing comfort and support to individuals facing serious illnesses, particularly those nearing the end of life. Hospice care emphasizes quality of life and dignity, allowing patients to spend their final days in a familiar and supportive environment, often at home
