Do not sign up if you do not want to play all day....usually until 3 or 4pm

FORMAT

Outdoor sand volleyball

Saturday will be 4's and any combination of gender works!! Great for all levels!!

Sunday will be 2's and any gender combination goes. Levels BB - A recommended but anyone can join. 

Both tournaments will be seeded with pool play. Pools will be merged to form a playoff bracket. Any team knocked out of the playoff bracket will be moved into our secondary bracket. 

Traditional volleyball rules apply, teams self ref. Teams will also be asked to help score other games. Usually a person does not score more than one game the entire tournament. 

Juniors are welcome to join. 

WHY

There are many great volleyball venues in Florida but not a ton around SWFL. Team Doogie is putting together more and more various types of events and leagues in the hopes that we can attain enough revenue to build a sports complex close to Punta Gorda area. We are aiming for roughly 8 acres in which we will install 4 outdoor sand courts, 4 additional sand courts with a large canopy so rain wouldn't be an issue, a shaded sport for cornhole, 1 multi-purpose field and bathroom facilities. We hope to grow that to include a small indoor facility as well with a snack shack. 

WHEN

Saturday August 14th (4's) and Sunday August 15th (2's)

7:00am - 8:00am registration and check in

8:30am - Seeding round begins (pool play)

10:00am - Seeded bracket play begins

Sunday August 18th
